Futsal is the FIFa and UEFA recognised for of small sided football. Futsal was the name chosen by FIFA, the World governing body of Football, for the only version that it supports.

The term FUTSAL is the international term used for the game. It is derived from the Spanish and Portuguese words for soccer, FUTbol and FUTebol, and the French and Spanish words for indoor, SALon or SALa.

The origin of Futsal can be traced back to Montevideo, Uruguay in 1930 when Juan Carlos Ceriani devised a Five A Side version of soccer for youth competition in YMCA's. The game is played on basketball sized courts, both indoors and out without the use of side walls.

  • Regulation size 3m wide x 2m high x 2m runback
  • Uprights and crossbars are manufactured from 80mm diameter x 2.5mm thick aluminium
  • Uprights and crossbars are polyester powder coated white
  • Complete with 32mm dia. x 1.5mm thick steel full net supports
  • Sprung loaded folding side frame for ease of use and storage, complete with detachable 42.4mm diameter x 3.2mm galvanised steel bottom backbar
  • Complete with four U peg anchors and lock on synthetic net hooks
  • Welded corner joints with an internal 8mm thick steel plate for added strength and aesthetic appearance
  • All external bolts are stainless steel
